Kindenheim – 2024

The Moonshara team participated in the main meeting of the DKBS in Kindenheim, where Aluna de Moonshara underwent the breeding tests on a particularly rainy Saturday. Having already passed Character Test 1 in 2023, Aluna successfully completed it again before advancing to Character Test 2. After these evaluations, we awaited the results of the final shooting test (one shot at 15 meters and one shot at 10 meters).

A few minutes after the shooting test, we received the results: Aluna scored 4 out of 5 points, passing the entire evaluation with a total of 31 out of 40 points. We are immensely proud of her achievement. By passing this test, Aluna has advanced from a breeding bitch to a conformation breeding bitch, the highest qualification for breeding dogs within the DKBS.

On Sunday, under the judgment of Mrs. Dugue from France, Aluna earned an Excellent 5 in the champion class, despite being slightly short on fur.

Overall, it was a relaxed and enjoyable weekend in Kindenheim, shared with friends. Our heartfelt thanks go to Claudia, Jana, and „Mama Jana“ for their support.

IRA Lingen – 2024

In the youngest class, at their very first exhibition:

• • Aluna de Moonshara: V1, CAC, CACIB, BOS (Both: Rania d’Aquivelt x Juego Peligroso du Domaine de Vauroux)

All results were judged by Mr. E. German from Austria.

Our youngest participants performed exceptionally well in both the hall and the ring, showing no signs of it being their first exhibition. It was a pleasure to reconnect with familiar faces, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations on these remarkable achievements.

The breeder is overjoyed with these fantastic results. It was truly an enjoyable experience.

Schaal der Kempen, Belgium – 2024

On March 16, 2024, Aluna traveled to the charming city of Weelde, Belgium, to compete in the prestigious Schaal der Kempen show. Under the expert handling of Jana Nordmann, Aluna delivered an outstanding performance, earning EXC 1, CAC, CACIB, and BOS. With this remarkable result, we are now eligible to apply for the title of International Champion (C.I.E.) recognized by the FCI.

We are overjoyed and incredibly proud of this achievement – Well done, Team!

Rock me Premstätten – Austria

In collaboration with Team Stefnics and their stunning black girl, Holly, the team traveled to Premstätten, near Graz, Austria. Both Holly and Aluna delivered identical, outstanding results over the weekend.

Saturday Highlights

Under judge Mr. Roland Meinx (Austria), both girls competed in the Champion Class and achieved: V1, CACA, CACIB, BOS, earning them the title “Premstätten Winner 2024.” After a relaxing afternoon exploring Graz and a rejuvenating stay at the highly recommended NH Graz, the team was ready for another exciting day.

Sunday Success

Building on their successes from Saturday, both girls delivered exceptional performances under judge Mr. Willi Güllix from Germany, competing once again in the Champion Class. They achieved V1, CACA, CACIB, and BOB, earning them the prestigious title of “Styrian Winner 2024.”

The day culminated with a remarkable experience in the FCI Group 1 Ring of Honor. Aluna secured an impressive 5th place in Group 1, an extraordinary accomplishment considering Volker was handling her in the ring. Holly, though equally stunning, unfortunately did not advance beyond the first round.

DKBS Special Oer-Erkenschwick & IRA Kassel 2024

DKBS Special Oer-Erkenschwick

The final DKBS show of the year traditionally takes place during the advent season in Oer-Erkenschwick. Team de Moonshara attended with Aluna and brought along Beninio Blue de Moonshara for a learning experience. Adding to the excitement, Bjella Blue de Moonshara, another member of our B-litter, joined as a visitor. Both youngsters behaved wonderfully and made us proud.

Aluna set an example in the ring, competing in the Champion Class and earning Excellent 1 and Reserve CAC under judge Mrs. Sep from the Netherlands.

The team was overjoyed, as this result secured the final point needed for Aluna to receive her German Champion Title from the VDH. What a fantastic achievement to close the year!

IRA Kassel – January 13 & 14, 2024

After a short holiday break in the Netherlands, the team kicked off the new year by participating in the IRA Kassel. We were delighted to reunite with Azuli de Moonshara and Bajana Blue de Moonshara, making it a wonderful family gathering. Here are the results:

  • Aluna de Moonshara (Champion Class): Excellent 1, Res. CAC/Res. CACIB

IRA Karlsruhe 2023

The day brought an unexpected twist—a Hoppeditz (German carnival) session in the ring! Not only was there a change of judge, but two additional learner judges accompanied Mrs. Blaha from Austria during the evaluations. Unfortunately, Aluna was awarded V2 in the Champion Class without any justification, seemingly judged down unfairly.

The outcome left Jana and Volker speechless, standing in disbelief in the hall.

The ring was judged by Mr. Klapproth from Germany, a respected figure in the Tervueren community and one of the country’s renowned former breeders. His wife is even the author of the “bible” on Tervueren, and his opinion still holds great weight.

This time, Aluna shone under Jana’s handling, earning another V2, but this time with full entitlement. Everything that had been criticized the previous day was now deemed acceptable—or even praised. According to Mr. Klapproth, the decision for the winner was incredibly close, which felt fair and satisfying.

This is the kind of outcome we can truly appreciate!

Friday, November 3rd, 2023 – VDH Bundessieger

Under the seasoned judge Mr. Maarten Nuijen (NL), Aluna earned an impressive V3 in the Champion Class, despite a nearly 2-hour delay in judging. This remarkable result made Aluna the best-performing German Tervueren bitch of the day in terms of show class and placement.

Saturday, November 4th, 2023 – VDH Herbstsieger

On the following day, Aluna teamed up with Lena to deliver another outstanding performance. The dream team achieved V2 with reserve qualification in the Champion Class under judge Mrs. Ricky Lochs-Romans (NL). Once again, Aluna secured her position as the top German Tervueren bitch of the day based on class and placement.

We were also delighted to reconnect with old friends and companions—Conny, Monika, Katrin, Nicola, Erik, and so many others. It was wonderful to see and catch up with you all.

For the second time, Lena has brought the prestigious VDH Europa Sieger title home to Hagen a.T.W.! In 2018, Montego Blue vom Egelschütz claimed this honor, and now, in 2023, Aluna de Moonshara has proudly followed in Montego’s footsteps. We are absolutely thrilled and couldn’t be happier!
