In the youngest class, at their very first exhibition:

In the open class:

• • Azuli de Moonshara: V2, Res. Awaitship VDH

In the champion class:

• • Aluna de Moonshara: V1, CAC, CACIB, BOS (Both: Rania d’Aquivelt x Juego Peligroso du Domaine de Vauroux)

All results were judged by Mr. E. German from Austria.

Our youngest participants performed exceptionally well in both the hall and the ring, showing no signs of it being their first exhibition. It was a pleasure to reconnect with familiar faces, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations on these remarkable achievements.

The breeder is overjoyed with these fantastic results. It was truly an enjoyable experience.

DKBS Special Oer-Erkenschwick & IRA Kassel 2024

DKBS Special Oer-Erkenschwick

The final DKBS show of the year traditionally takes place during the advent season in Oer-Erkenschwick. Team de Moonshara attended with Aluna and brought along Beninio Blue de Moonshara for a learning experience. Adding to the excitement, Bjella Blue de Moonshara, another member of our B-litter, joined as a visitor. Both youngsters behaved wonderfully and made us proud.

Aluna set an example in the ring, competing in the Champion Class and earning Excellent 1 and Reserve CAC under judge Mrs. Sep from the Netherlands.

The team was overjoyed, as this result secured the final point needed for Aluna to receive her German Champion Title from the VDH. What a fantastic achievement to close the year!

IRA Kassel – January 13 & 14, 2024

After a short holiday break in the Netherlands, the team kicked off the new year by participating in the IRA Kassel. We were delighted to reunite with Azuli de Moonshara and Bajana Blue de Moonshara, making it a wonderful family gathering. Here are the results:

• • Azuli de Moonshara (Open Class): Excellent 1, CAC/CACIB, and BOS
  • Aluna de Moonshara (Champion Class): Excellent 1, Res. CAC/Res. CACIB

• • Azuli de Moonshara (Open Class): Very Good 2 – We later discovered she had been dealing with stomach issues.
  • Aluna de Moonshara (Champion Class): Despite being “handicapped” by having Volker on the other end of the leash, she delivered an outstanding performance, earning Excellent 1, CAC/CACIB, and BOB!

A huge congratulations to our ladies, Aluna and Azuli, for their remarkable results. Thank you to Sylwia for her incredible support and handling. It was a memorable weekend full of success, learning, and joy.

IRA Karlsruhe 2023

The day brought an unexpected twist—a Hoppeditz (German carnival) session in the ring! Not only was there a change of judge, but two additional learner judges accompanied Mrs. Blaha from Austria during the evaluations. Unfortunately, Aluna was awarded V2 in the Champion Class without any justification, seemingly judged down unfairly.

The outcome left Jana and Volker speechless, standing in disbelief in the hall.

The ring was judged by Mr. Klapproth from Germany, a respected figure in the Tervueren community and one of the country’s renowned former breeders. His wife is even the author of the “bible” on Tervueren, and his opinion still holds great weight.

This time, Aluna shone under Jana’s handling, earning another V2, but this time with full entitlement. Everything that had been criticized the previous day was now deemed acceptable—or even praised. According to Mr. Klapproth, the decision for the winner was incredibly close, which felt fair and satisfying.

This is the kind of outcome we can truly appreciate!
