The day brought an unexpected twist—a Hoppeditz (German carnival) session in the ring! Not only was there a change of judge, but two additional learner judges accompanied Mrs. Blaha from Austria during the evaluations. Unfortunately, Aluna was awarded V2 in the Champion Class without any justification, seemingly judged down unfairly.

The outcome left Jana and Volker speechless, standing in disbelief in the hall.

The ring was judged by Mr. Klapproth from Germany, a respected figure in the Tervueren community and one of the country’s renowned former breeders. His wife is even the author of the “bible” on Tervueren, and his opinion still holds great weight.

This time, Aluna shone under Jana’s handling, earning another V2, but this time with full entitlement. Everything that had been criticized the previous day was now deemed acceptable—or even praised. According to Mr. Klapproth, the decision for the winner was incredibly close, which felt fair and satisfying.

This is the kind of outcome we can truly appreciate!
